Sport at your fingertips
Sports hall Borovo Naselje was built and opened in 1978 for the purpose of hosting the XXIII International Table Tennis Championship of Yugoslavia.
The sports hall is a rectangular building with a total ground plan of 85.32 x 66.33 meters. It consists of a large hall, a small hall, two gyms, a gymnastics hall, a boxing hall, a bowling alley, changing rooms, bathrooms, storage rooms, and office space.
The sports hall in Borovo Naselje was energetically renovated as part of the project "Development of additional educational content and modernization of the Borovo Naselje sports hall", which is part of the Intervention Plan of the City of Vukovar. The electrical and mechanical systems were modernized and new efficient LED lighting fixtures were installed, which will ultimately lead to a reduction in electricity and heat consumption. The sports hall has a capacity of up to 3,000 spectators.
