SUNNYVUK

Purpose and goal of the project

Realization of the SunNyVuk project is the first step towards the transformation of Vukovar into a carbon-neutral city. This will be achieved by building solar power plants at public institutions, and then using renewable energy sources and reducing annual CO2 emissions.

The aim of the project is to promote the use of renewable energy sources and increase the annual production of electricity from solar energy through the implementation of 12 pilot projects. It is about the installation of 12 integrated solar power plants with a total installed power of 863.1 kWp, which annually produce about 932 MWh of electricity, while reducing CO2 emissions by about 148 tons every year.
